“The most important aspect of any wine is that you enjoy it” – Jancis Robinson

When you gather with your friends and family to share wine, you should always enjoy the experience. There are different approaches on how to optimize these experiences and one of them is to have a theme. A certain theme of what wines to partake with one another can really heighten the enjoyment. I recommend having a common thread between each wine. That can be either a varietal, a region, a certain producer, or the characteristic quality of the wine. That character can be full bodied or medium bodied. Aromatic white varietals or tannic red wines. Find something you can all agree with in sharing that experience with. Be open to trying new wines from new regions. You never know when you find your next must-have wine!
